The Rocket
FRI 1 NOVEMBER 7PM
Australian writer and director Kim Mordaunt (Bomb Harvest) won major prizes at both the Berlinale and Tribeca with this heartwarming coming-of-age tale set entirely in Laos.

Mystery Road
SAT 2 NOVEMBER 6PM
An Indigenous detective investigates the murder of a teenage girl in a small town in the Outback. Ivan Sen (Toomelah) crafts a mesmerising thriller with a stellar Australian cast including Aaron Pedersen, Hugo Weaving, Ryan Kwanten and Jack Thompson.

The Way, Way Back
SAT 2 NOVEMBER 8.30PM
Toni Collette co-stars in this smart and uplifting coming-of-age comedy about a teenager (Liam James) who befriends the rebellious manager of a broken-down water park (Sam Rockwell).

Paulina García delivers the performance of a lifetime, for which she won Best Actress at the Berlinale, in this uplifting comedy-drama about a lonely 58-year-old's search for love in ballrooms for older singles.

Before Midnight

Older, perhaps wiser and holidaying in Greece, Jesse and Celine continue the long discussion that is their life, this time with a more argumentative tone, in this witty conclusion to the Before trilogy.
