Default 7 Sleeps to go! Travelling Film Festival ICAN go Blue

7 MORE SLEEPS UNTIL THE BEST ON SCREEN

UNDER THE STARS AT TORS-DRIVE IN

OPENING NIGHT IS AN ICAN GO BLUE EVENT raising awareness and funds for men's cancer

Only seven more sleeps until the Travelling Film Festival (TFF) hits Charters Towers for its annual visit, bringing the best movies from around the world to the iconic Tors Drive-In from Friday 5 to Sunday 7 October. The festival screens five films from five countries over three nights of one-off screenings.

On the back of Blue September, the international cancer fundraising campaign that delivers a serious message in a fun way, TFF has partnered with Cancer Council Queensland to make the TFF Opening Night an ICAN go Blue event - raising awareness and funds for dealing with men's cancers. Our Opening Night film is the raunchy and raoucous Not Suitable For Children - a new Australian hit rom-com starring True Blood's Ryan Kwantan as Jonah - whose partying comes to an abrupt halt when he is diagnosed with testicular cancer. Facing infertility, Jonah becomes obsessed with having a child before its too late. This is a delightfully boisterous take on an issue affecting over 600 young Australian men every year, that will surprise and charm you with its warmth and wit.

The film is followed by complimentary drinks, so come and rub shoulders with the mayor, the local member and the whole creative community over chips, cheese, cabanossi, crackers and chardonnay at our always-popular Opening Night party - Friday 5 October, 7pm.
