Charters Towers Regional Council 2010 - 2011 Rate Notice Advice.
Property owners within the Charters Towers Regional Council's jurisdiction are advised that the 2010 - 2011 Rate Notices will be issued early September 2010.
Due to Notices being issued later than in previous years, Council encourages Ratepayers, who desire to pay off their accounts by installments, to consider the option of commencing prepayments now, towards their 2010 - 2011 Rates Notice. This will assist in finalising Rate Installments Agreements by the required date of June 15, 2011.
Prepayments will show as a Credit on the 2010 - 2011 Rate Notice, thereby reducing the amount owing, when issued. Prepayments can be made at any time, and be for any value, using any of the available payment methods or ratepayers can request Council to debit prepayments installments from a bank account or credit card.
